Hello everyone! Fall is here – the leaves are changing, the air is crisp and we are gearing up for our first recital of the school year this month! Below are some updates and reminders for this month.

Halloween Recital: Our Halloween Recitals will be held Sunday 10/25 at 2:00pm and 4:30pm at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. All students participating should now be signed up for a recital time. Family and friends are invited to enjoy an afternoon full of great music and fabulous costumes!

Updated Business Hours: Sat/Sun/Mon 12:00-7:00pm, Tue 1:00-7:00pm, Wed 2:30-7:00pm. Closed all other days and times, and business hours are posted on the front door. Please do not come up to the house if it is not during posted business hours. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Lessons on Holidays: We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays, including Alaska Day Monday 10/18 and Halloween Saturday 10/31. If you decide to not attend lessons that day, please let me know as soon as possible. The normal cancelation policy does still apply.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition Payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

New Students: If you are a potential new student and are interested in lessons, I am now full for the fall, but do have a wait list started. Please contact me at megan.e.felts@gmail.com for more information on NSMA and how to sign up for the wait list.

Hello everyone! Welcome to the 2015 Fall Semester here at NSMA, it has been great seeing everyone after summer break! We are now full-swing into our fall semester, below are some updates and reminders for this fall.

Business Hours: Sat/Sun/Mon 12:00-7:00pm, Tue 2:00-7:00pm, Wed 3:00-7:00pm. Closed all other days and times, and business hours are posted on the front door. Please do not come up to the house if it is not during posted business hours. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Fall Handout: There will be an important updates/reminders handout given to students at the start of the fall semester. Please make sure you get that information, it is also posted online under the Current Students/Documents tabs.

Recitals: We will have four recitals this school year. Dates and times are on the Fall Handout and on our online calendar under the Current Students/Calendar tabs.

Hello everyone! The summer semester here at NSMA is coming to a close, but I am excited for the beginning of the fall semester this month! I’m looking forward to seeing returning students and meeting incoming students. Below are a few important reminders for this month.

Fall Semester: The 2015 Fall Semester begins Saturday August 22nd. All students should now be signed up for a lesson day/time, please contact me with any questions you might have.

NSMA Closure: NSMA will be closed August 4 – 21. Lessons will resume for the start of the fall semester on August 22.

Fall Handout: There will be an important updates/reminders handout given to students at the start of the fall semester. Please make sure you get that information, it will also be posted later this month online under Current Students/Documents tabs.

Hello everyone! We are officially half-way through our 10-week summer semester, my how time flies! I have to say that I am looking forward to the 4th of July, it is one of my favorite Juneau holidays because the whole town turns out to celebrate. I hope to see some of you at (or in!) the parade this year! Below are a few updates and reminders for NSMA for this month.

Fall Pre-Registration for Continuing Students: Pre-Registration for the Fall 2015 semester for continuing students is open July 1st. I have sent all continuing students an email with the necessary information and paperwork, summer students will also receive these in hard copy at their next lesson. You can also download the paperwork online via the Current Students/Documents tabs. Please Note: the deadline for Pre-Registration is July 31st.

Fall Registration: The open registration begins August 1st for new students starting lessons in the 2015 summer semester and for those on my wait list.

Hello everyone! Welcome to summer, I’m hoping this beautiful weather we’ve been having continues! We had wonderful performances at our fifth annual Spring Recitals last month, congratulations to all who performed. NSMA is on a lighter schedule for the summer months, but here are a few important reminders.

Summer Business Hours: For June – Saturdays 12:00-4:00pm, Sundays 12:00-7:00pm, Mondays 12:00-7:00pm, closed all other days. For July – Sundays 12:00-7:00pm and Mondays 12:00-7:00pm and closed all other days.

Summer Semester: The first day of the 2015 Summer Semester will be Saturday May 30th. The summer semester will end Monday August 3rd.
