  • Lesson Arrival Times: Please arrive for your lessons on time. Out of respect for other students and for my planning time, please do not come into the studio more than 5 minutes prior to your lesson start time.
  • Late Arrival Times: If you/your student is going to be late to lesson, please call and let me know. I recommend that you put my phone number in your cell phone address book if it is not there already. If you are more than 10 minutes late and I have not received a courtesy phone call informing me of the late arrival, you forfeit the remainder of the lesson and there will be no makeup lesson.
  • Tuition Payment: I accept checks, money orders, free bank to bank transfers via the QuickBooks invoice, and cash. NO CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS. Tuition is due monthly; payment is due the first lesson of each month but no later than the 10th day of the month. There is a $25.00 late fee if tuition has not been received by the 10th of the month. Payments can be mailed to the studio, sent with the student, or dropped off in the white drop box attached to the mailbox.
  • Other Reminders: While I prefer email communication, I understand not everyone does, so I do post all of this information on my website and email it to my clients with multiple reminders. However, sometimes I must email/call regarding lessons (particularly when I have to cancel or have an issue with a student), so I would appreciate it if everyone would make the effort with me to keep lines of communication between us open. Also, please let me know if your address/phone numbers/email addresses change, as it is imperative that I am able to contact you when I need to.

PLEASE NOTE: North Star Music Academy welcomes ALL who wish to study music and does not discriminate based on gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, and socio-economic status. We hope to create a welcoming and safe environment for all to learn and enjoy music.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these updates and reminders, and again, thank you for continuing to make music a part of your lives!
