Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. The Spring Semester will start January 9th, so we’re still on break until then. Below are some important dates and updates for you – please mark these dates on your calendars!!
Winter Break: Jan. 1-8. Lessons resume Monday Jan. 9 with our same schedule as last fall.
Scheduling:Â If you/your student is interested in a different day/time for lessons, Winter Break is the time to contact me regarding requesting scheduling changes for the spring semester!
Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays. This includes YES lessons on: Monday 1/16 Martin Luther King Day, Tuesday 2/14 Valentine’s Day, Monday 2/20 Presidents’ Day, Sunday 4/16 Easter, Sunday 5/14 Mother’s Day, and all other one-day holidays. If you are unsure about the calendar and holidays, please see my online calendar under the Current Students tab.
Soundtrack Themes Recital: Our next recital is our Students’ Choice Recital and they have picked Soundtrack Themes! The recital will be on Sunday March 12 at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. More information to follow in February.
Spring Break: The school district Spring Break is March 18-26. Lessons will be given on an optional basis, more information to follow in February.
Spring Recital: Our final recital of the school year is the Spring Recital, which will be held on Sunday May 21 at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. This recital marks the end of the Spring Semester, the 2017 Summer Semester will begin May 28. More information to follow on the recital and summer lessons in April.
Spring Business Hours: Sat/Sun 12:00-7:00, Mon/Tue 1:00-7:00, Wed 2:30-7:00, closed Thur/Fri. Hours are posted on the front door, please do not come up to the house if it is not during the posted business hours.
Tuition Payment Reminder:Â Tuition Payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month (15th of the month for January due to late start). If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
