Children

I love teaching kids of all ages! We work on balancing learning the instrument with the fun of making music.

Piano – ages 6 and up, beginner through intermediate levels.

Voice – ages 9 and up, all levels of experience.

Adults

Taking music lessons may be intimidating for adults!

I create a fun and low-stress environment for students to learn how to play the piano and sing or further existing piano and vocal skills.

I offer lessons to adults of all ages with varying levels of experience.

April News

Hello everyone! We are over halfway through our Spring Semester here at NSMA, and that means that it’s now time to look towards the summer and yes, even the fall!! Below are some important reminders and updates regarding the 2025 Summer and Fall Semesters.

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one day holidays, teacher in-service days, parent teacher conference days (please remember – we are not affiliated with the school district and only loosely follow the JSD school calendar!!). We DO have lessons Easter 4/20, and Mother’s Day 5/11. Please do not assume we have any one-day holidays off from lessons – if you are unsure, please contact me to ask! Please mark your calendars accordingly.

Spring Recital: The final recital of our 2024/25 school year is our annual Spring Recital on Saturday May 17th at 3:00pm at Chapel by the Lake Church. More information will be sent out in April.

2025 Summer Semester: Registration for the 2025 Summer Semester will begin April 1st, current students will be sent the information via email as well as intentions regarding fall lessons. We will have room for new students, so now is the time to contact us to set up summer lessons!

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off physical payments with your student at lesson, send in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the studio entrance. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

New Students: We have extremely limited openings for new students for the 2025 Spring Semester and a waitlist started for the 2025 Spring and 2025 Summer Semesters! Please contact us at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information.
