October News

Hello everyone! We’re now in the thick of fall lessons here at NSMA and we’ve got quite the month in store for October! Below are some important dates, reminders and information to keep track of.

Halloween Recital: Our first recital of the school year is our Halloween Recital on Sunday Oct. 28th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All participating students should now be registered for the recital, the $15.00 performance fee will be put on your October invoice. All others are welcome to come and watch, there is no cost to attend as an audience member. Please note – all performers MUST be in costume to match their song! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the recital.

New Studio Facility: I am hoping that the new studio facility will be open for lessons sometime this month. I will keep everyone up to date with where we stand on the completion of the construction, but for now please exercise caution when arriving and departing lessons.

New Students: We do have a couple of openings left for new students! Please contact us today at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information on how to get registered for lessons!

Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on ALL one-day holidays. This includes parent/teacher conference days, teacher inservice days and Halloween Wednesday 10/31. If you have any questions on the schedule/calendar, please see the calendar tab under the Current Students tab on my homepage or contact me directly.

Thanksgiving: We DO have lessons the day before (Wednesday 11/21) and the weekend after Thanksgiving (Saturday/Sunday 11/24 and 11/25), so if you are traveling or will miss any lessons please let me know ASAP. The normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment downstairs in the studio with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house to drop off payment if it is not during your student’s lesson time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Business Hours: Saturday/Sunday 12:00-7:15pm, Monday 1:30-7:00pm, Tuesday 12:15-7:00pm, Wednesday 2:30-7:00pm, closed Thursday/Friday. Please do not come up to the door if it is not your student’s lesson time or regular business hours, thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
