Hello everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for spring to be here, even if the fortunes of weather haven’t figured that out yet! We’re heading into our first recital of 2019, the Student’s Choice Recital, this month. And then just after that is Spring Break! I think this month is going to fly by, so here are some important reminders for March.

March Recital: Our annual Students’ Choice Recital will be 2010-Present themed this year. The recital will be on Sunday March 10th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. The $15.00 per student performance fee has been added to the March invoices of those participating, no cost to attend as an audience member. PLEASE NOTE: there will be no lessons held on recital dates – AND March 10 is Spring Forward for Daylight Savings, please set your clocks accordingly. Please contact me with any questions.

Spring Break 2019: There will be optional lessons held during the Juneau School District Spring Break March 16-24. By now everyone should have contacted me regarding their Spring Break plans. Please contact me ASAP if anything changes or if you have any questions!!

Yes To Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays, including St. Patrick’s Day Sunday 3/17.

New Students: We have very limited availability for new students for the 2019 Spring Semester! Please contact us today at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information on how to get registered for lessons or to be placed on the wait list for new openings or for the 2019 Summer Semester.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not during your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello everyone!! We’re going strong in our second month of the 2019 Spring Semester. We’ve got a jam-packed spring here at NSMA, so please make sure you’re up to date on everything we’ve got going on. Below are some of the highlights!

March Recital: Our annual Students’ Choice Recital will be 2010-Present themed this year. The recital will be on Sunday March 10th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students who wish to participate in the recital need to be registered for the recital by February 20th, the fee will be added to your March invoice. Please contact me with any questions.

Please see the handout given in lessons, which will also be emailed and will be available for download under the Current Students/Documents tabs. Please contact me no later than Feb. 20th with your Spring Break plans!!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are continuing to enjoy our Winter Break. Lessons resume again on Monday January 7th for the 2019 Spring Semester. Below are some important reminders for this month as well as the entire spring.

Spring Semester Dates: Monday January 7th through Saturday May 18th.

Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on ALL one-day holidays. That includes: Monday 1/21 Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday 2/18 President’s Day, Sunday 4/21 Easter, Sunday 5/5 Cinco De Mayo, Sunday 5/12 Mother’s Day.

Spring Break: We will have optional lessons the week of the Juneau School District Spring Break Saturday March 16 through Sunday March 24. More information will be given out the first week of February.

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays! We’ve got a jam-packed short month here at NSMA, including our second recital of the school year. Please read the highlights of this month, especially noting our Winter Holiday Break!!

Winter Holiday Recital: Our annual Winter Holiday Recital will be held Sunday December 16th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church in the valley. All students performing should now be registered for the recital, please email or call if you have any questions. There will be NO LESSONS at all on this day due to the recital. We WILL have lessons the Mon/Tue/Wed following the recital. All are welcome to come watch some fun holiday music!

Winter Break: We will have NO LESSONS Thursday December 20th through Sunday January 6th. Lessons will resume Monday January 7th with the same schedule as the fall. Please email me if you will miss any lessons outside of the winter break weeks, the regular cancelation policy will apply.

2019 Spring Semester: Our 2019 Spring Semester will begin Monday January 7th and go through Sunday May 19th. Please contact me if you need to look at getting a different lesson day/time for the spring semester.

Hello everyone! We had a fabulously spooky Halloween Recital, everyone did a great job on their recital pieces! We’ve got a lot more going on for the remainder of the 2018 Fall Semester here at NSMA, please read the below reminders!

New Studio Facility: We are now all moved in to our new studio facility! All lessons will now be held in the new building, the main house is now my family’s private home. Please do not come up to the main house at any time, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

New Students: We have very limited availability for new students! Please contact us today at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information on how to get registered for lessons or to be placed on the wait list for new openings.

Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on ALL one-day holidays. This includes parent/teacher conference days and Veteran’s Day (observed) Monday 11/12. If you have any questions on the schedule/calendar, please see the calendar tab under the Current Students tab on my homepage or contact me directly.

Thanksgiving: We DO have lessons the day before (Wednesday 11/21) and the weekend after Thanksgiving (Saturday/Sunday 11/24 and 11/25), so if you are traveling or will miss any lessons please let me know ASAP. The normal cancelation policy will still apply.
