Hello everyone and welcome to the final month in our 2019 Spring Semester! I’m excited for our final recital of the 2018/19 school year and for summer lessons to begin. By now all students participating in the recital should be registered for the recital, and all current students should have turned in their 2019 Summer Semester paperwork. If you haven’t done either of those yet, please contact me ASAP! Below are some very important reminders for this month:

2019 Spring Semester End Date: The last day of lessons for the 2019 Spring Semester is Saturday May 18. Our last recital of the school year will be on Sunday May 19, no lessons held that day. There will be no lessons held Monday May 20 – Friday May 24.

2019 Summer Semester: Our summer lessons will be held Saturday May 25 through Saturday August 17. Registration is now open for the 2019 Summer Semester for new students.

2019 Fall Semester: The 2019 Fall Semester will begin on Sunday August 18. Registration for the 2019 Fall Semester will begin for continuing students on July 1st.

Spring Recital: The final recital of the 2018/19 school year will be our annual Spring Recital on Sunday May 19 at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students participating should now be registered for the recital, though anyone is welcome to come and watch! Please let me know if you have any questions.

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays including Sunday 5/5 (Cinco de Mayo) and Sunday 5/12 (Mother’s Day). If you/your student will not be attending lessons on one of these days, please let me know as soon as possible, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not during your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello everyone! We had a fantastic Student’s Choice Recital last month, I’m so proud of everyone who performed! April is the last full month of the 2019 Spring Semester, we’ll only have 2.5 weeks of lessons in May before our annual Spring Recital and the end of the semester, so we’ve got a full month to get everything ready for May. It is also time to start thinking about the 2019 Summer Semester – paperwork for summer lessons as well as next fall will be handed out in lessons the first week of April. Please read further for more information!

Hello everyone! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for spring to be here, even if the fortunes of weather haven’t figured that out yet! We’re heading into our first recital of 2019, the Student’s Choice Recital, this month. And then just after that is Spring Break! I think this month is going to fly by, so here are some important reminders for March.

March Recital: Our annual Students’ Choice Recital will be 2010-Present themed this year. The recital will be on Sunday March 10th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. The $15.00 per student performance fee has been added to the March invoices of those participating, no cost to attend as an audience member. PLEASE NOTE: there will be no lessons held on recital dates – AND March 10 is Spring Forward for Daylight Savings, please set your clocks accordingly. Please contact me with any questions.

Spring Break 2019: There will be optional lessons held during the Juneau School District Spring Break March 16-24. By now everyone should have contacted me regarding their Spring Break plans. Please contact me ASAP if anything changes or if you have any questions!!

Yes To Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays, including St. Patrick’s Day Sunday 3/17.

Hello everyone!! We’re going strong in our second month of the 2019 Spring Semester. We’ve got a jam-packed spring here at NSMA, so please make sure you’re up to date on everything we’ve got going on. Below are some of the highlights!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and are continuing to enjoy our Winter Break. Lessons resume again on Monday January 7th for the 2019 Spring Semester. Below are some important reminders for this month as well as the entire spring.

Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on ALL one-day holidays. That includes: Monday 1/21 Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday 2/18 President’s Day, Sunday 4/21 Easter, Sunday 5/5 Cinco De Mayo, Sunday 5/12 Mother’s Day.

Spring Break: We will have optional lessons the week of the Juneau School District Spring Break Saturday March 16 through Sunday March 24. More information will be given out the first week of February.
