Hello everyone! We’ve almost made it to the half-way point of the Spring Semester and it seems like life is busier than ever! We’ve got quite a few things going on this month as well as the last two months of this semester, so here are some of the highlights:
March Recital: Our ‘Soundtrack Themes’ recital is coming up on Sunday March 12th. It will be held at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students performing should now be registered. Recital attire can either be costume to match your song or regular recital dress. Please contact me with any questions.
Spring Break: The JSD Spring Break is Saturday March 18 – Sunday March 26. There will be optional lessons held during that time. All students should now have their scheduling finalized for Spring Break, please contact me ASAP if you have any questions.
Daylight Savings: Daylight Savings springs forward 1 hour on Sunday March 12th (our recital day). Please make sure to turn your clocks forward an hour Saturday night so everyone makes it to the recital on time!!
Yes to Lessons:Â We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays. This includes YES lessons on: Sunday 4/16 Easter, Sunday 5/14 Mother's Day, and all other one-day holidays. If you are unsure about the calendar and holidays, please see my online calendar under the Current Students tab or contact me.
Spring Business Hours: Sat/Sun 12:00-7:00, Mon 1:00-7:00, Tue/Wed 2:00-7:00, closed Thur/Fri. Hours are posted on the front door, please do not come up to the house if it is not during the posted business hours.
Tuition Payment Reminder:Â Tuition Payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment downstairs in the studio with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
New Students: If you are a potential new student and are interested in lessons, I am currently fully booked for the Spring Semester. I will have space available for new students for the Summer Semester. Hello everyone! It has been great to see everyone back from Winter Break, and to meet some new students as well. We’ve gotten back in the swing of lessons and practicing here at NSMA, and next month we’ll have our first recital of 2017. Below is some important information for this month as well as looking ahead to next month.
March Recital: Our students’ choice recital this year is going to be Soundtrack Themes. The recital will be held Sunday March 12th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students wishing to participate need to contact me by Feb. 20 to register for the recital, there is a $10.00 per student performance fee. Please contact me with any questions!
Spring Break: We will be having optional lessons the week of the school district Spring Break, March 18-26. Please see the letter given to students in lessons regarding more information on Spring Break options, which has also been emailed to all clients. The letter is also available for download on my website under the Current Students/Documents tabs.

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year! I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season. The Spring Semester will start January 9th, so we’re still on break until then. Below are some important dates and updates for you – please mark these dates on your calendars!!
Winter Break: Jan. 1-8. Lessons resume Monday Jan. 9 with our same schedule as last fall.
Scheduling:Â If you/your student is interested in a different day/time for lessons, Winter Break is the time to contact me regarding requesting scheduling changes for the spring semester!

Soundtrack Themes Recital: Our next recital is our Students’ Choice Recital and they have picked Soundtrack Themes! The recital will be on Sunday March 12 at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. More information to follow in February.

Spring Recital: Our final recital of the school year is the Spring Recital, which will be held on Sunday May 21 at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a great holiday season and I’m looking forward to getting back to lessons as normal this month. Below are some important reminders for January as well as the rest of the 2018 Spring Semester.
Winter Break: Winter Break will continue through Sunday January 7th. Lessons will resume Monday January 8th with the same schedule we had in the fall.
Lesson Days/Times: If you/your student would like to look at switching to a different day or time for lessons, please contact me asap to see if we can get something worked out.
March Recital: Our next recital is our Students’ Choice recital, which will be 1980’s themed!, on Sunday March 11th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. Recital registration paperwork will be handed out the first week of February.
YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one day holidays! That includes Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday 1/15, Valentine’s Day Wednesday 2/14, President’s Day Monday 2/19, Easter Sunday 4/1 and Mother’s Day Sunday 5/13. Please let me know if you/your student will not be attending lessons that day, the regular cancelation policy will still apply.

Hello everyone! Winter is here and I’m sure we’re all bustling about getting ready for the holidays. We have a short, jam-packed month here at NSMA. Below are the highlights for December.
Winter Holiday Recital: Our fifth annual Winter Holiday Recital will be held on Sunday Dec. 18th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students participating should be registered, all are welcome to come and watch as audience members! There will be no lessons held on that recital day. Please contact me asap with any questions you might have.
Winter Break: There will be NO LESSONS Thursday 12/22 – Sunday 1/8. Lessons resume at our normal schedule on Monday 1/9.
