October News

Hello everyone! We’re coming into the half-way point of our fall semester here at NSMA and I’m super excited about how our first recital of the 2019/20 school year is coming along! We’ve got some fantastic numbers and everyone is working very hard to get their songs down, I think it’s going to be a great show! Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking ahead at the rest of the fall semester.

Halloween Recital: Our first recital of the 2019/20 school year will be our annual Halloween Recital on SATURDAY 10/26 at 3:00pm. For those students performing in the recital, the $15.00 per student performance fee has been added to your October invoice. Reminder – ALL students performing MUST be dressed in costume to match your song – you do not need to purchase a new costume, you can always look in your closets and get creative! Please let me know if you have any questions!

Adult’s Evening of Music: We are going to be having our musical gathering for our adult students again on Saturday 10/19 5:00-7:00pm at the studio, we had a blast last spring and hope to continue and make a new tradition here at NSMA. All adults interested in participating should contact me asap to sign up (cost is $5.00/person). It is potluck style apps, so please let me know what you would like to bring in terms of food and drinks. Please let me know if you have any questions!!

Yes to Lessons: We DO have lessons on ALL Sunday/Monday one-day holidays, so for this month we DO have lessons on Monday October 14 Columbus Day and Thursday October 31 Halloween. Please let me know if you/your student will not be attending lessons on either day, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, pay online through your invoice, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
