Hello everyone! The summer semester here at NSMA is coming to a close, but I am excited for the beginning of the fall semester this month! I’m looking forward to seeing returning students and meeting incoming students. Below are a few important reminders for this month.
Fall Semester: The 2015 Fall Semester begins Saturday August 22nd. All students should now be signed up for a lesson day/time, please contact me with any questions you might have.
NSMA Closure: NSMA will be closed August 4 – 21. Lessons will resume for the start of the fall semester on August 22.
Fall Handout: There will be an important updates/reminders handout given to students at the start of the fall semester. Please make sure you get that information, it will also be posted later this month online under Current Students/Documents tabs.
New Students:Â If you are a potential new student and are interested in lessons, there are just a few openings available for new students and they are filling up quickly. I also have a wait list started for the fall semester for those who are not able to get lessons for the start of the fall semester. Hello everyone! We are officially half-way through our 10-week summer semester, my how time flies! I have to say that I am looking forward to the 4th of July, it is one of my favorite Juneau holidays because the whole town turns out to celebrate. I hope to see some of you at (or in!) the parade this year! Below are a few updates and reminders for NSMA for this month.
Fall Pre-Registration for Continuing Students: Pre-Registration for the Fall 2015 semester for continuing students is open July 1st. I have sent all continuing students an email with the necessary information and paperwork, summer students will also receive these in hard copy at their next lesson. You can also download the paperwork online via the Current Students/Documents tabs. Please Note: the deadline for Pre-Registration is July 31st.
Fall Registration:Â The open registration begins August 1st for new students starting lessons in the 2015 summer semester and for those on my wait list.
New Students:Â If you are a potential new student and are interested in lessons, I have a wait list started for the fall semester. Please contact me at megan.e.felts@gmail.com for more information on NSMA and how to sign up for the wait list.

Hello everyone! Welcome to summer, I’m hoping this beautiful weather we’ve been having continues! We had wonderful performances at our fifth annual Spring Recitals last month, congratulations to all who performed. NSMA is on a lighter schedule for the summer months, but here are a few important reminders.
Summer Business Hours: For June – Saturdays 12:00-4:00pm, Sundays 12:00-7:00pm, Mondays 12:00-7:00pm, closed all other days. For July – Sundays 12:00-7:00pm and Mondays 12:00-7:00pm and closed all other days.

Hello everyone! This is it, the last three weeks in the 2015 spring semester! We’ve got the push on to finish the semester strong with our annual Spring Recitals on Sunday May 17th. Below are several reminders about what’s going on at NSMA this month.
Spring Recitals: Our annual Spring Recitals will be held on Sunday May 17th at 2:00pm and 4:30pm at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. All students performing should now be signed up for a recital time, please contact me ASAP if you have any questions. All friends, family and non-performing students are welcome to come and enjoy some great performances and for our celebratory receptions after each recital!
Spring Semester: The last day of lessons of the 2015 Spring Semester is Saturday May 16th. There will be no lessons held Sunday May 17th – Friday May 29th.
Summer Semester: The first day of the 2015 Summer Semester will be Saturday May 30th. The summer semester will end Monday August 3rd. All students who are taking summer lessons will receive an email no later than May 17th with their summer lesson day and time. *For those who have not yet told me their summer plans re: lessons, please do so ASAP!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Spring Break last month, I know I sure did! But I’m ready to get back to it and finish out our last six weeks before the spring semester ends. Below are some important reminders for the month of April and into May.
April/May Holidays: We WILL have lessons as regularly scheduled on all holidays that fall on lesson days in April & May, including Easter and Mother's Day. If you plan on not having your student attend lessons on one of those days please let me know, however, the regular cancelation policy will still apply.
Spring Recitals: Our annual Spring Recitals will be held on Sunday May 17th at 2:00pm and 4:30pm. Registration for recitals is now open (handouts to be given in lessons, will be emailed to each family, and are online under the Current Students/Documents tab) and is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please contact me as soon as possible to get you/your student signed up for a recital time.
Summer 2015 Lessons: Registration for Summer 2015 lessons is now open. Registration forms and the Summer 2015 Studio Policies will be handed out in lessons as well as emailed to each family, and the documents will also be posted on here under the Current Students/Documents tab. Please fill out the registration form and get that back to me as soon as possible.
