Hello everyone! Summer lessons are now in full swing – I hope you all are enjoying the summer as much as I am! All summer lesson slots have been taken, but if you are a potential new student please contact me as I do have a wait-list started!
Reminders: There will be no lessons Monday, July 4th.
More Reminders: Later this month I will be sending out notices via email and in person regarding Fall Registration. Current students – PLEASE get the registration information to me as quickly as possible and in the given time-line if you wish to continue lessons and secure your requested lesson time slot! Fall lessons will begin Monday, August 22nd.

Hi everyone! The summer has officially started and with it so have summer lessons! June is fully booked with lessons, but there are still a couple of open spots left for July and August, so if you have not yet registered for lessons now is the time to do so!
Our May Recitals went really well! Congratulations to all the students who performed, all of you worked very hard and deserve to be proud of what you accomplished! Thanks to parents, friends and family for helping make our recitals and receptions fun and enjoyable for everyone.
Reminders: There will be no lessons THURSDAY, JUNE 16th. If I have not yet discussed makeup lesson day/time or canceling the lesson with you, please let me know so we can get that figured out.

Hello everyone! May is such a busy month with our two Spring Recitals and the 2010/2011 school year coming to an end this month. Spring lessons end May 22nd. At this point everyone should be signed up for a recital date – if you need to change anything about your recital rehearsal and/or recital date/time, please let me know ASAP!!
Recitals: Recital Rehearsal Sat. May 7th – please double check your students assigned time! Sat. May 14th Recital – 5:00-7:30pm. Sun. May 22nd Recital – 2:00-4:30pm. The Recital Rehearsal and both Recitals will be held at UAS in the Egan Lecture Hall, room 109. Again, if you have any questions, please let me know ASAP!!
Registration for Summer Lessons: Current NSMA students who want to continue lessons through this summer need to let me know by Friday, May 6th if you want a guaranteed spot. New students who are interested in lessons but have not contacted me yet to register please do so soon – I have a limited number of time slots left for the summer and they are being filled quickly!!
Summer Lessons: Summer lessons begin Tuesday, May 31st. Lessons will only be offered Monday – Thursday during the summer. Please see the Summer Studio Policies document for more information on summer lessons under both New Students (Studio Policies) and Current Students (Documents).

Hello everyone! April is here, and that means we are in serious practice mode for our North Star Music Academy May Recitals! The recitals are Saturday, May 14th and Sunday May 22nd, so if you have not yet registered for a recital, please do so asap. There will also be an optional recital rehearsal Saturday, May 7th, so if you are interested in signing up and haven’t done so yet, please do that soon!
North Star Music Academy is currently fully booked with 55 students, but if you are a new potential student and are thinking about signing up for lessons, I do have a wait-list started! Please contact me to find out more information on how the wait-list works and how to get your name on it.

April Vocal Workshop: NSMA is putting together another vocal workshop Sunday, April 10 3:00-6:00pm. This workshop is open to all of my voice students. All students who are participating should have registered by now, please let me know if you have any questions!
Summer Lessons: Information regarding summer lessons has been put up on the website under New Students (Studio Policies & Registration) and Current Students (Documents). I have also emailed a letter to all students regarding summer lessons and will be handing out the letter in hard-copy at lessons. Please read over this information and let me know what your plans are regarding summer lessons!

Hello everyone! Spring is on it’s way to North Star Music Academy! This will be a busy month with the Juneau School District Spring Break Saturday March 19 – Sunday March 27. NSMA will be offering optional lessons that week Monday – Thursday, at this point I believe I have contacted everyone regarding Spring Break plans. If there are any last-minute changes, please contact me asap so I can do my best to accommodate everyone’s needs!
