Hello everyone! We’re now into the swing of fall lessons, it has been so nice seeing everyone back! Below are a few reminders about fall lessons, please let me know if you have any questions about these reminders.
Halloween Recitals: Our Halloween Recitals will be on Sunday October 6th. We will be having two recitals again this year, the times will be 2:00pm and 4:30pm. Recital times are on a first come, first serve basis, so please contact me ASAP to sign you/your student up for the time you would like.
Business Hours: Fall business hours are Saturday/Sunday/Monday/Tuesday 12:00-7:00pm. NSMA is closed all other days and times.
Invoicing: Invoices will be sent out the 3rd week of the month and tuition is due the first lesson of each month. There is a grace period until the 10th of the month, if payment has not been received by the 10th of the month a $10.00 late fee will be assessed.
Dropping off checks: If you are dropping off a check and it is not you/your student’s lesson time, please use the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house, ring the doorbell or enter the house if it is not during posted business hours.
Maternity leave: I will be on maternity leave Oct. 30-Jan. 31. I will be resuming lessons Feb. 1 with the same schedule as this fall. If I need to start my maternity leave for medical reasons sooner than Oct. 30, I will let you know as soon as is possible and go over the next steps at that time.

Hello everyone! We’re now winding down the summer and we’ve got three weeks left until school starts, but what a great summer it’s been!! Everyone should now be signed up for fall lessons and have been emailed lesson start dates and times for fall lessons, if you have not yet received that information please let me know.
Fall Lessons: The fall semester will begin Monday August 19th. I will be teaching Mondays/Tuesdays/Saturdays/Sundays 12:00-7:00pm.

Hello everyone! What an amazingly beautiful June we had, such incredible weather! Here at NSMA we’re now fully into the swing of summer lessons, which continue through to Saturday August 17th. The month of July brings Fall Registration – please be on the lookout for handouts given in lessons and an email to all continuing 2012/13 students.
Fall Registration: Fall 2013 Registration begins July 1st and will end July 31st. All 2012-2013 current and continuing students (except for those who started this summer) will be given priority registration for fall lessons. Due to my reduced teaching schedule for this fall, I cannot guarantee continuing students a space in my fall lessons roster. Please get your registration requests in to me as soon as possible to help facilitate the scheduling process. Students who started this summer will be given fall registration opportunities in the beginning of August if there is space available.
Summer Cancelation Policy Reminder: Students who are going to miss lessons for family trips/vacations must give written or emailed cancellation notice by the 20th of each month for the next month's lessons (ex: student will be gone June 18, so the cancellation notice is required by May 20th). Failure to give notice by the 20th will result in forfeiture of the lesson(s) and the lesson(s) will not be made up or reimbursed (this does not include those lessons canceled due to serious injury or illness). Those who give cancellation notice by the 20th of each month will either have their lesson made up, if possible, or will not be charged for any canceled lessons on that month's invoice.

Hello everyone! We are now finishing up our spring semester and we are gearing up for our annual Spring Recitals! I am very excited for our spring recitals this year, all of the students have been working very hard on their songs for the past few months. Here are a few updates for NSMA:
Spring Recitals: The 2013 Spring Recitals will be held Sunday May 19th 3:00pm and 5:30pm. All students should now be signed up for a recital time, if you have not yet signed up for a recital time please contact me asap!! The recitals will be held at UAS in the Egan Lecture Hall with a reception following.
Summer Lessons: Registration for 2013 Summer Lessons is now open! Current students, please fill out your Summer/Fall lesson paperwork and hand in/email me as soon as possible! Summer lessons will be held June 1 – August 19 (please note: there will be no lessons held May 19-31).
