Hello everyone! Welcome to fall lessons here at NSMA, albeit a little earlier than we normally start the fall semester! I am looking forward to seeing everyone back to lessons this month. As you know, I am expecting my second child on Aug. 30 and will be taking two months maternity leave this fall, so we have a lot of things that will be different from our normal fall semester this year. Please read through the information carefully and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions you might have!
Fall Update Letter: I will be handing out a Fall Update Letter this week to all students. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY as it contains very important information for this fall (information on: maternity leave, all 2017/18 recital dates, which holidays we have lessons and which we don’t, Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks). I will also be emailing it to all clients and it is posted on my website under the Current Students/Documents tabs. Please contact me asap with any questions regarding the information in the letter.
Maternity Leave: I am expecting to take my maternity leave Sept. 1 – Nov. 3. Please see the Fall Update Letter for more information.
Fall Scheduling: If you have any issues with your current assigned day/time for you/your student’s lessons, please contact me ASAP to inquire about alternative scheduling arrangements. I cannot guarantee that I will be able to make changes, but I will do my best.
Fall Business Hours: Sat/Sun 12:00-7:00pm, Mon/Tue 12:00-7:00pm, Wed 2:00-7:00pm. Closed Thur/Fri. Please do not come up to the house during non-business hours. All hours are posted on the front door. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Tuition Payment Reminder:Â Tuition Payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment downstairs in the studio with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the house to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello everyone! We’re now halfway through the 2017 Summer Semester here at NSMA, time is just flying by! I am certainly enjoying the summer so far and I hope everyone else is, too. Below are some important updates and reminders for this month.
2017 Fall Semester: All continuing students should now be registered for the 2017 Fall Semester. If you have not yet registered you/your student, please contact me ASAP.
New Students for the Fall Semester: I have limited openings for new students for the 2017 Fall Semester and expect to be fully booked by the end of the first week of this month. If you are interested in signing up for lessons, please contact me immediately to inquire about lesson time availability. I will also have a wait list started for the fall semester so in the event I am unable to get new students in for lessons, I can put them on the wait list for when I have openings in my schedule.
Fall Semester: The 2017 Fall Semester starts Tuesday August 1st. We will have no lessons September 1 – November 3 during my maternity leave. Lessons will resume with the same fall schedule on Saturday November 4.
YES To Lessons: We have lessons on ALL one-day holidays, including the evening of July 3rd (no lessons on the 4th as it is not a normal lesson day). Please let me know as soon as possible if you/your student will miss any lessons this month, the normal summer cancelation policy will apply.

Hello everyone! Welcome to summer here at NSMA, it was a wonderful end of the school year which was capped off with our annual Spring Recital. I’m so proud of all who performed!! We’ve got two months of a slower summer schedule before the Fall Semester begins in August, I hope all of us are able to get out and enjoy ourselves this summer. Here are a few important reminders for this month:
Summer Semester: The 2017 Summer Semester runs May 27 – July 31. Summer students – please let me know ASAP if you are going to miss any lessons in June or July (please see the summer cancelation policy for more information).
New Summer Students: If you are interested in summer lessons, I have only a few more spots available in my schedule. Please contact me for more information at megan.e.felts@gmail.com.

Continuing Students Fall Registration: Registration is now OPEN for continuing students for the 2017 Fall Semester. Fall Registration for New Students: I currently have a wait list for incoming new students for the 2017 Fall Semester. If you are interested in starting lessons in the fall, contact me ASAP for more information on how to get on the list. I expect to be completely full for the fall by the first week of July.

Hello everyone! We’re down to the last few weeks of our Spring Semester here at NSMA, and I can tell you, I’m excited for summer!! We have a busy three weeks until our final recital of the school year, our annual Spring Recital, so here are some very important reminders.
Spring Recital: Our annual Spring Recital will be held Sunday May 21st at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. All students participating should now be registered for the recital (the $10.00 participation fee will be on your May invoice). All other students, friends and family are welcome to come watch the recital at no cost! Please contact me with any questions you might have.
YES to Lessons: This is your final reminder for the Spring Semester that we DO have lessons on ALL one-day holidays! That does include Sunday 5/14 (Mother’s Day) as it is the final Sunday lesson before our recital.
End of Spring Semester: Saturday 5/20 will be the last day of lessons for the Spring Semester.
Beginning of Summer Semester: Saturday 5/27 will be the first day of lessons for the Summer Semester.
Summer Lessons: All current students wishing to participate in summer lessons should now be registered! I will be sending out confirmation emails this week to confirm you/your student’s lesson day/time. Please make sure you respond to that email!!
Fall Semester Registration: Fall 2017 Registration will be open for continuing students June 1st and be open through June 3oth. ALL CONTINUING STUDENTS (REGARDLESS OF TAKING SUMMER LESSONS OR NOT) MUST BE REGISTERED BY JUNE 30TH TO BE GUARANTEED A SPOT IN MY FALL SEMESTER. Current students will be given the Fall Registration paperwork in lessons the last week of the Spring Semester.
Beginning of Fall Semester: Fall 2017 will begin TUESDAY AUGUST 1ST. Please see Fall Registration documents or contact me for more information.

Hello everyone! We are two months away from the end of the Spring Semester and I know I’m ready for spring to really start happening! We had a fantastic Soundtrack Themes Recital last month, all of our students performed well and it was a great success. I’m looking forward to our last recital of this school year next month, our annual Spring Recital. Here are some important updates:

Please return the registration form or email it to me by MAY 1st regardless of whether you/your student is going to take summer lessons or not.
End of Spring/Beginning of Summer: The last day of lessons for the Spring Semester is Saturday 5/20. There are NO LESSONS 5/21-5/26. The Summer Semester begins Saturday 5/27.
Fall Registration: Registration for the 2017 Fall Semester for continuing students will be JUNE 1 – 31. All current students wishing to continue lessons in the Fall Semester MUST register by June 31st to be guaranteed a spot in my schedule.
Yes to Lessons:Â We DO have lessons on all one-day holidays. This includes YES lessons on: Sunday 4/16 Easter, Sunday 5/14 Mother's Day, and all other one-day holidays. If you are unsure about the calendar and holidays, please see my online calendar under the Current Students tab or contact me.
