Hello everyone! Congratulations to all of the students who participated in our Halloween Recital – everyone did a fantastic job and I’m so proud of all of you! Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking ahead to the last month of the semester. Please make sure all dates are marked on your calendars!!!!

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons the entire week of Sunday 11/10 – Thursday 11/14. If you/your student is not going to be attending lessons, please let me know as soon as possible, the normal cancelation policy does still apply.

Thanksgiving: We DO NOT have lessons on Thursday 11/28, Sunday 12/01 and Monday 12/02. We DO have lessons Tuesday 12/03 and the rest of that week.

Winter Holiday Recital: The next recital is our Winter Holiday Recital on Saturday 12/07 at 3:00pm at Chapel by the Lake. All students performing should be there no later than 2:45pm, all students and families are welcome to come join as audience members (there is no cost to come watch!).

Winter Break: We will have NO LESSONS during Winter Break Friday 12/20 through Saturday 01/04. Lessons will resume with our normal schedule on Sunday 01/05. Please let me know if you/your student will miss any lessons outside of those dates, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off physical payments with your student at lesson, send in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the studio entrance. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello everyone! We’re now in the thick of it with the 2024 Fall Semester here at NSMA, and this month we have our first recital of the 2024/25 school year! Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking forward to the rest of the fall. Please mark all important dates on your calendars!!

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all Sunday/Monday holidays, including Mon/Tue 10/16-17 JSD teacher inservice/parent teacher conferences and Wed 10/18 Alaska Day. Please let me know asap if you/your student will not be attending lessons on those days, the normal cancelation policy does apply.

Closed & No Lessons: We DO NOT have lessons Sunday 10/27. We DO have lessons Monday 10/28 through Thursday 10/31 as normal.

Hello everyone and welcome to the Fall Semester here at NSMA! It is wonderful seeing familiar faces back again and it is so very nice to meet so many new students! I think this is the largest group of new students I’ve had since I opened in 2010, and I am so excited to be working with each of you!! Closed & No Lessons: We DO NOT have lessons Monday 9/9 through Wednesday 9/11. We DO have lessons Sunday 9/8 and Thursday 9/12 as normal.

Hello everyone! Welcome to August, where we have the end of our summer semester and will be starting our fall semester here at NSMA. Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking ahead to this fall!!

Summer/Fall Semesters: The 2024 Summer Semester ends Tuesday August 13th and the 2024 Fall Semester begins Sunday August 18th.

MASKS: Masks are now optional! As long as the student is healthy and free of symptoms, masks are optional. We ask that students who are sick with more than minor symptoms stay home (fever, bad cough, throwing up, etc.), students with minor symptoms of a cough or runny nose can attend lessons, but we do ask that they wear a mask while symptomatic.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Hello everyone! I somehow missed putting out my July updates until now, that must mean that I’m enjoying this summer haha! I hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather when we are lucky enough to get it. Below are some important reminders for the rest of this month!

No Lessons: There are no lessons Monday July 22nd through Monday July 29th. Lessons will resume Tuesday July 30th with our normal schedule. Some people have rescheduled lessons to Sunday July 21st and Wednesday July 31st, please double check your calendars and let me know if you have any questions!

2024 Fall Semester Registration: Registration is now open for the 2024 Fall Semester! We will have availability for new students, but weekend and after school times are filling up fast, so if you/your student is interested in signing up for the fall please contact me ASAP!
