April News

Hello everyone! We’re past the halfway point in our 2024 Spring Semester here at NSMA. Congratulations to the students who performed in our Students’ Choice Recital in March, everyone did a great job!! Below are some very important reminders for this month as well as looking forward, please take note of these items and dates!

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on almost every 1-day holiday and all school inservice and parent/teacher conference days! We DO have lessons on Easter Monday 4/1, Mother’s Day 5/12. Please contact me asap if you/your student will not be attending lessons that day, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Spring Recital: The final recital of the 2023/24 school year will be our annual Spring Recital on Saturday May 18th 3:00-5:00pm at Chapel by the Lake Church. I will be sending out an email in April with more details regarding the recital, all students are encouraged to participate and/or come and watch as an audience member!!

2024 Summer Semester: Registration for the 2024 Summer Semester for continuing students is now open! Please be on the lookout for emails regarding the 2024 Summer and Fall Semesters. The Summer Semester begins Sunday May 26th and the Fall Semester begins Sunday August 18th.

MASKS: Masks are now optional! As long as the student is healthy and free of symptoms, masks are optional. We ask that students who are sick with more than minor symptoms stay home (fever, bad cough, throwing up, etc.), students with minor symptoms of a cough or runny nose can attend lessons, but we do ask that they wear a mask while symptomatic.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off physical payments with your student at lesson, send in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the studio entrance. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
