June News

Welcome to the 2022 Summer Semester here at NSMA! Great job to everyone who participated in the last virtual recital of the 2021/22 school year, I’m proud of all the hard work that went into creating your wonderful songs. Congratulations to our recent high school graduates, we will miss you!! We’ve been having such wonderful weather, I know it’s hard to carve out the time on days like these for lessons but I so do appreciate seeing everyone this week for the beginning of summer lessons! Here are some important reminders for this month and the rest of the summer.

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on Father’s Day Sunday 6/19. Please let me know if you/your student will not be attending lessons that day, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

4th of July: We DO NOT have lessons on Monday 7/4. Mid-June I will be emailing students with lessons that day to see if anyone would like to reschedule their 7/4 lesson to another day that week.

Covid-19 Travel Update: Families traveling for vacations are not required to do an online lesson upon returning from trips but may request one if they wish. Please let me know all of your travel plans ASAP and we can easily do an online lesson after returning to town.

MASKS: CBJ now has us in the low risk category, however – ALL STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS AND INSTRUMENT, MUST WEAR A MASK DURING LESSONS. I will be staying on top of the city regulations and will keep everyone updated with any changes.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off physical payments with your student at lesson, send in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox post. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

New Students: We have a few openings left for the 2022 Summer Semester! We also have a wait list started for the 2022 Fall Semester. Please contact us at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information.
