November News

Hello everyone! Thank you to all who performed in our Halloween Recital – I had a BLAST and was thrilled with everyone’s performances. And we get to do it all again in 6 weeks for our annual Winter Holiday Recital – no rest for the weary here! Please read the below reminders/information for this month and looking forward to next month.

Thanksgiving Holiday: There will be NO LESSONS held Thursday November 28 for the Thanksgiving holiday. We DO have lessons on all the other days that week, including the Wednesday before and the Sunday after. If you/your student will be missing lessons on a regularly scheduled day, please let me know as soon as possible, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Winter Holiday Recital: Our annual Winter Holiday Recital will be held Saturday December 14th at 3:00pm at Aldersgate Church. There is a $15.00 per student performance fee, there is no fee for audience members. The recital fee will be put on your December invoice. We DO have lessons the week following the recital. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Winter Break: We will have NO LESSONS Friday December 20 through Saturday January 4. Lessons will resume with the same schedule as the fall on Sunday January 5. If you/your student will need a new lesson day/time for the Spring Semester, please contact me ASAP to discuss scheduling.

Online Calendar: If you’re ever unsure of recital dates or holidays that we may/may not have lessons, I do have an online calendar with all of the dates listed for the 2019/20 school year. And of course, you can always email me with any questions you have!

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, pay online through your invoice, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off anytime in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not during your student's lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house at any time. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

New Students: We will have very limited openings for new students for the 2019 Fall Semester! Please contact me at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information. Please note – once fully booked, I will start a wait list for new students as well as for the 2020 Spring Semester.
