September News

Hello everyone and welcome back to another fall with NSMA!! We have now begun our fall semester and it is so nice to see everyone back again and meet our new students. NSMA has a jam-packed fall, so here are some important updates:

Fall Recitals: We will be having two sets of recitals this fall again, our Halloween Recitals Sunday Oct. 28th 3:00pm and 5:30pm and our Winter Holiday Recitals Sunday Dec. 16th 3:00pm and 5:30pm. Please put these dates and times on your calendars now!! We will be taking time requests for the recitals as we get closer to those dates.

Reminders: We DO have lessons on ALL Monday holidays, early release days, inservice days and parent teacher conferences days. That means we DO have lessons on Labor Day Monday Sept. 3rd, and parent teacher conferences Thursday/Friday Sept. 27/28th. Please mark your calendars accordingly!!

NSMA Updates: Please visit our website, www.northstarmusicacademy.com, for important information updates. Click on the Current Students tab at the top of the page and scroll down to read the updated info.

Piano Tuners: People always ask me about reliable piano tuners and I highly recommend Dan & Vada McElrath of Alaska Piano Services. Located in Anchorage, Dan & his wife Vada are not only piano tuners, they are also registered piano technicians and are among some of the most highly qualified people in the state. Dan and Vada will be coming down to Juneau Oct. 29-Nov. 5th. If you are interested in getting your piano tuned and/or fixed, please contact them at alaskapiano@ak.net or (907) 529-4584.

If you are a potential new student and are interested in fall lessons, I do have a wait list for the fall. Please fill out the online Registration Form or contact me for more information on NSMA and how to get signed up for the wait list.
