School’s Back!

School has officially started, and so have fall lessons!

Fall lessons are now in full swing! Lesson slots are filling up fast now that school has begun, so if you haven’t signed up for fall lessons now is the time to do it. You can sign up through the Registration form online (under the New Students tab), by email to megan.e.felts@gmail.com, or by phone (907) 500-7455.

Reminder – We still have lessons on early release days and Monday holidays! The online calendar includes the fall and winter holidays that North Star Music Academy observes and for which lessons will be canceled. This information can also be found under the Studio Policies.

Music Around Town

The Juneau Symphony Orchestra is still looking for singers for the Juneau Symphony Chorus for their production of Mahler’s 2nd. If you are interested, you can learn more and sign up through their website, and there is no audition to participate.

The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is bringing in the Celtic group SLIDE, which is performing at the JDHS auditorium Tuesday Sept. 21st at 7:00pm. SLIDE combines traditional and contemporary Celtic and Irish folk music.

That’s all for now! It has been great meeting all of you new students as we begin our fall lessons. I hope that we will all have a great year together!
