Welcome to North Star Music Academy!
I am so excited to be opening North Star Music Academy in my hometown of Juneau, Alaska. It is great to be back home with family and friends, thank you to everyone who has helped get this business up and running.
Summer lessons are winding down as we near the end of August! School begins Tuesday, August 24th, which means that fall lessons are starting MONDAY, AUGUST 23rd!! If you haven’t signed up for fall lessons yet, there are still spaces available. Please get signed up with the Registration Form (on the website under New Students) as soon as possible as slots are filling up fast!
Music Around Town –
Juneau Lyric Opera auditions for La Boheme are Saturdays August 14 and 28. You can sign up online through their website to audition or call to schedule an audition time.
Juneau Symphony rehearsals for Mahler’s 2nd Symphony begin August 30 for the Juneau Symphony Chorus. You can sign up through their website to register – there is no audition for this production.
