Hello everyone, and welcome to summer!! It was nice to have a week off between the spring semester and summer semesters, but I’m glad to be back at lessons with the summer crew. Below are some updates and reminders for the beginning of summer lessons.
Summer Business Hours: Saturday 12:00-4:00pm, Sunday 12:00-7:00pm, Monday 1:00-7:00pm, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday CLOSED.
Group Vocal Lessons: I am offering group vocal lessons on Saturday afternoons every other week for this summer, high schoolers and adults only. If you are interested, please contact me at megan.e.felts@gmail.com for more information and for the class schedule.
Summer Holidays: We WILL have lessons as regular scheduled on Father’s Day Sunday June 19th. If you plan on not having your student attend lessons on this day please let me know, however, the regular summer cancelation policy will still apply. We have NO LESSONS July 4th.

Hello everyone! May is here and we’re charging ahead towards our last recital of the school year and the end of the 2016 Spring Semester! I’ve had a great spring with everyone and am looking forward to a great recital this month!! Below are a few reminders for this month:
Spring Recital: Our annual Spring Recital is Sunday May 22nd at 3:00pm at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. All students should now be signed up for the recital. Â The recital will be approximately 2 hours long with a short 5-10 minute intermission, with a reception following the recital. Please contact me with any questions – I look forward to seeing everyone there!
End of Spring Semester: The final day of lessons for the 2016 Spring Semester is Saturday May 21st. There will be no lessons held Monday May 23rd – Friday May 27th.
Summer 2016 Semester: The 2016 Summer will begin Saturday May 28th and go through August 16th. All continuing students should now have returned their summer registration forms, please contact me if you have any questions.
Fall 2016 Semester: The 2016 Fall Semester will begin Wednesday August 17th. Pre-registration for continuing NSMA students will open July 1st, open registration for incoming students will begin August 1st.
Other Holidays: We WILL have lessons as regular scheduled on all one-day holidays, including Mother's Day Sunday May 8th. If you plan on not having your student attend lessons on one of those days please let me know, however, the regular cancelation policy will still apply.

Hello everyone! Welcome to April, it’s certainly been a great spring so far here at NSMA and I’m looking forward to the remainder of the Spring Semester with everyone! This is the time of year that we start looking ahead to summer and even fall lessons, and with that comes an abundance of handouts and emails. Below are the highlights from the documents and emails you will be receiving during the next week.
Spring Recital: Our annual Spring Recital will be held on Sunday May 22nd at 3:00pm. We will again be having only one recital, however, if registration numbers are high I will look into the possibility of doing two recitals again. For now, please plan on one recital, and I will keep everyone updated with that information. Registration is now open, please contact me to sign you/your student up for the recital.
End of Spring Semester/Beginning of Summer Semester: The 2016 Spring Semester will end with our Spring Recital on Sunday May 22nd. There will be NO LESSONS held Monday May 23rd through Friday May 27th. The Summer Semester begins Saturday May 28th.

Hello everyone! I’m excited for spring to be here – it means our first recital of 2016, Spring Break, and (hopefully!) nicer weather! There is a lot going on this month here at NSMA, so please read through the updates and reminders below!
60 Years of Pop Recital: Our first recital of 2016 is our 60 Years of Pop Recital on Sunday March 13th at 3:00pm, held at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church. All students participating should be signed up for the recital, and even if you’re not performing, please come and enjoy a great afternoon of fabulous pop music!
Spring Break: Our Spring Break is March 19 – 27. NSMA Spring Break plans have changed and we will be offering optional lessons on ALL Spring Break days. Please contact immediately with any questions.
Summer 2016 Lessons: Yes, it’s almost time to start thinking about lessons for this coming summer! Summer registration informational packets will be handed out in lessons in April.

Hello everyone! Now that all the ice and snow have melted, I’m ready for spring to be here…but wait, it’s still only February! Here at NSMA February always seems to fly by, so here’s what we’ve got going on for reminders this month:
Pop Music Recital: Our special themed recital this year will be the Pop Music Recital on Sunday March 13th at 3:00pm. We will only have ONE recital this time. Registration for the recital is now open – recital paperwork will be handed out in lessons this week and is also available online on my website via the Current Students/Documents tab. Recital registration deadline is February 20th!
Spring Break: The public school spring break will be Saturday March 19 – Sunday March 27. All current students should have received spring break paperwork in handouts and via email (also available online). Spring Break information deadline is February 20th!
