Hello everyone! Summer lessons are now winding down to an end and now we’re revving up preparations for the coming school year! Summer lessons end Thursday August 18th and fall lessons begin Monday August 22nd.
Current NSMA students: Fall registration ends Friday August 5th. If you have not done so yet, please email or call me ASAP to ensure that you/your student has a spot in my roster for the school year!
For potential new students I do have a wait list started for the school year. If you have been thinking about piano and/or voice lessons but haven’t contacted me yet about lessons, now is the time to do so! Please email or call me to ask about how the wait list works and how to get your name on it!
August Vocal Workshop – NSMA will be hosting another vocal workshop on Sunday August 14th 2:00-4:00pm. All those interested in attending should already be signed up. Please note that there is a $15.00 fee for this workshop.

Perseverance Theatre’s STAR program will be performing Beauty and the Beast Jr. and James and the Giant Peach August 5 through 13 at the Noyes Pavilion at UAS. For more information and tickets visit their website, www.perseverancetheatre.org.
Juneau Lyric Opera is having their Mid-Summer Vocal Festival featuring Rachmaninoff’s All Night Vigil (Vespers) July 31-August 12 with a performance August 13th 7:30pm at Northern Light United Church. The Juneau Cabaret will be performing at the Silverbow Sunday August 14th 7:00pm. Yours truly will be performing as well as several NSMA students, so please come out and enjoy a wonderful evening of show tunes, jazz and Silverbow goodies!
