November News

Hello everyone! I am so proud of everyone who submitted music videos for our 2020 virtual Halloween Recital on our private YouTube channel! Thank you to all of the family members and friends who helped make those videos happen! Here are some important reminders for this month and looking ahead to next month.

YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on Tuesday 11/3 Election Day and Wednesday 11/11 Veteran’s Day. If you/your student is going to miss lessons that day, the regular cancelation policy does still apply.

Thanksgiving: We DO NOT have lessons Thursday 11/26 Thanksgiving. We DO have lesson the rest of the week (Sun 11/22 – Wednesday 11/25 and Sunday 11/28). If you/your student is going to miss lessons on any other day besides Thanksgiving Thursday, the regular cancelation policy does still apply.

Winter Holiday Recital: We will have another virtual recital for our 2020 Winter Holiday Recital. All students participating should now have picked their songs. Videos will need to be in to me by Friday December 18th.

Winter Break: We will not have lessons Friday December 18 through Saturday January 2nd. Our 2021 Spring Semester will begin Sunday January 3rd with the same schedule that we’ve had this fall. Please let me know as soon as possible if you/your student will need a different day/time for lessons in the spring. If you/your student is going to miss lessons outside of these dates, the regular cancelation policy does still apply.

Business Hours: Sundays/Mondays/Tuesdays 12:00-7:30pm, Wednesdays 2:00-7:30pm and Thursdays 12:30-7:30pm, closed all other days and times. Lessons will be held both online and in-person, please let me know if you have any questions regarding our COVID-19 safety precautions.

Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10thof the month. If tuition is received after the 10thof the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off your payment with your student at lesson, send the payment in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the mailbox post. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student's lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

New Students: We do have limited availability for new students and also have a wait list started for lessons for the 2021 Spring Semester. As of November 1st, we still have room for new students for the fall semester! Please contact us at megan.e.felts@gmail.com or (907) 500-7455 for more information.

Music Around Town: I normally have a section where I list all of the musical and performing events around town, but sadly none of these are currently being held. I look forward to the future when we can all enjoy musical events together again.

In parting, I again want to thank all of my clients for your continued support and understanding as we work through these times together. Music is a special gift to all of us, and I thank you all for continuing to make music an important part of your life!!
