Hello everyone! We are in our second month of the 2025 Spring Semester and lessons are running smoothly. Thank you all for your continued efforts with getting students to lessons and encouraging practice at home. Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking forward to the rest of the spring.
YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all one day holidays, teacher in-service days, parent teacher conference days (please remember – we are not affiliated with the school district and only loosely follow the JSD school calendar!!). We DO have lessons President’s Day 2/17, St. Patrick’s Day 3/17, Easter 4/20, and Mother’s Day 5/11. Please do not assume we have any one-day holidays off from lessons – if you are unsure, please contact me to ask! Please mark your calendars accordingly.
Students’ Choice Recital: The next recital is our annual Students’ Choice Recital on Saturday March 8th at 3:00pm at Chapel by the Lake Church. More information will be sent out in an email this month.
Spring Break: We will have NO LESSONS the week of Spring Break 3/23-27. Lessons will resume as normal on Sunday 3/30. Please mark these dates on your calendars!!
Spring Recital: The final recital of our 2024/25 school year is our annual Spring Recital on Saturday May 17th at 3:00pm at Chapel by the Lake Church. More information will be sent out in April.
2025 Summer Semester: Registration for the 2025 Summer Semester will begin April 1st, more information will be sent out in April.
Tuition Payment Reminder: Tuition payments are due at the first lesson of every month with a grace period until the 10th of the month. If tuition is received after the 10th of the month, a $25.00 late fee will be assessed. Please drop off physical payments with your student at lesson, send in the mail or you can drop it off any time in the secure white drop box attached to the studio entrance. Please do not come up to the studio to drop off payment if it is not your student’s lesson time, and please do not come up to the main house for any reason. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Hello everyone and Happy New Year!! Welcome to 2025 – I hope it is a year full of happiness, good health, and of course – lots of music!! Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking ahead to later on in our 2025 Spring Semester here at NSMA.
Winter Break: We will have NO LESSONS during Winter Break Friday 12/20 through Saturday 01/04. Lessons will resume with our normal schedule on Sunday 01/05. Please let me know if you/your student will miss any lessons outside of those dates, the normal cancelation policy will still apply.

Hello everyone! Congratulations to all of the students who participated in our Halloween Recital – everyone did a fantastic job and I’m so proud of all of you! Hello everyone! We’re now in the thick of it with the 2024 Fall Semester here at NSMA, and this month we have our first recital of the 2024/25 school year! Below are some important reminders for this month as well as looking forward to the rest of the fall. Please mark all important dates on your calendars!!
YES to Lessons: We DO have lessons on all Sunday/Monday holidays, including Mon/Tue 10/16-17 JSD teacher inservice/parent teacher conferences and Wed 10/18 Alaska Day. Please let me know asap if you/your student will not be attending lessons on those days, the normal cancelation policy does apply.
Closed & No Lessons: We DO NOT have lessons Sunday 10/27. We DO have lessons Monday 10/28 through Thursday 10/31 as normal.
