Private music lessons for children and adults in Juneau, Alaska
January 1st, 2012
Hello everyone and welcome to the new year of 2012! NSMA ended the year with two fantastic Winter Holiday Recitals – I am so proud of everyone who performed. We had such a good 2011 here at NSMA and I’m sure that this year will be just as wonderful!
This spring will be action-packed with two vocal workshops, one in February (2/5) and the other in April (4/15), and then our big Spring Recitals in May (5/20). Please put these events on your calendars, and as these dates get closer I will be sending out information regarding these events, so please be on the look-out for those letters!
February Vocal Workshop:Â We will be having a vocal workshop Sunday February 5th 3:00-6:00pm. The theme of this workshop is “Yoga for Singing” – we will be working on abdominal muscles, breathing, and core strength. We will be following the same model as our previous workshops – singing, discussion, pizza party. The cost for this workshop is $15.00, please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to sign up for the workshop.
Reminders:Â We have lessons on ALL Monday holidays and early release days, so we DO have lessons Monday 1/16. Please contact me if you have any questions!
If you are a potential new student, NSMA is currently fully booked, but we do have a wait list started for new students. Please contact me for more information on the wait list and how to get your name on it!
