January News

Hello everyone and welcome to the new year of 2012! NSMA ended the year with two fantastic Winter Holiday Recitals – I am so proud of everyone who performed. We had such a good 2011 here at NSMA and I’m sure that this year will be just as wonderful!

This spring will be action-packed with two vocal workshops, one in February (2/5) and the other in April (4/15), and then our big Spring Recitals in May (5/20). Please put these events on your calendars, and as these dates get closer I will be sending out information regarding these events, so please be on the look-out for those letters!

February Vocal Workshop: We will be having a vocal workshop Sunday February 5th 3:00-6:00pm. The theme of this workshop is “Yoga for Singing” – we will be working on abdominal muscles, breathing, and core strength. We will be following the same model as our previous workshops – singing, discussion, pizza party. The cost for this workshop is $15.00, please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to sign up for the workshop.

Reminders: We have lessons on ALL Monday holidays and early release days, so we DO have lessons Monday 1/16. Please contact me if you have any questions!

If you are a potential new student, NSMA is currently fully booked, but we do have a wait list started for new students. Please contact me for more information on the wait list and how to get your name on it!
